Overview

1:1 Tutor - In-Person & Online - Northampton & Surrounding Areas

Location: Northamptonshire (in-person) and Remote (online)
Job Type: Flexible hours, part-time or full-time
Salary: 25 - 35 per hour (DOE)

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for experienced tutors or educators to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition for students with Special Educational Needs across Northampton. Sessions are delivered either in person (at school, home or library) or online, depending on the student\'s circumstances.

This role suits qualified teachers, SEN support workers, or experienced tutors who want to make a real impact on the learning journey of vulnerable students.

What the Role Involves:

  • Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions tailored to the pupil\'s EHCP and academic needs
  • Work with students with Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH, and learning difficulties
  • Develop personalised resources and learning materials
  • Monitor and report on progress regularly
  • Build trust and rapport to support social and emotional development
  • Liaise with parents, schools and external agencies as needed
  • Ensure sessions are safe, productive, and adapted to suit individual learners
