Job summary

A leading education provider in Crediton is seeking a SEND Specialist Tutor to deliver bespoke tuition packages for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will have a QTS or equivalent, experience with young people with ASD or ADHD, and a passion for helping disengaged pupils reintegrate into learning. The role is part-time, with flexible hours based on family needs, offering £25 per hour. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Must possess QTS or equivalent.
• Experience working with young people with ASD or ADHD is essential.
• Must be creative, patient, and able to think outside the box.
• Experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to young people with SEND.
• Create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to boost pupil attainment levels.
• Support and re-engage pupils in their learning and education.
