Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a SEND Specialist Tutor in Barnstaple to provide bespoke one-on-one tuition for young people with special educational needs. The ideal candidate will have QTS or an equivalent qualification and experience working with children with ASD or ADHD. Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working with young people with special educational needs.
• Creative and patient, with an ability to engage disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions.
• Support pupils who are anxious or disengaged in their learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and submit weekly reports.
• Help reintegrate pupils into mainstream education.
