Position: International Sales Manager (EMEA)

Salary: On-Target-Earning (OTE) includes a startingCOMPETITIVEREGIONALbaserange of€75,000 -€146,000; it could be higher depending on individual effort and contribution.

The successful candidate\'s starting base will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, andgeographiclocation. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the base range for this role. The OTE will include a competitive base, commission, and bonus structure.

The International Sales Manager (EMEA) is responsible for driving strategic growth and market expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role serves as the primary commercial lead for the region, promoting RheoSense’s viscometry solutions to key sectors including biotech, pharmaceuticals, academia, and industrial R&D. By building strong customer relationships, managing channel partners, and executing targeted sales strategies, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in increasing brand visibility, revenue, and customer satisfaction throughout the EMEA region.

The ideal person for the Sales Manager (EMEA) role would be someone who blends technical fluency with regional business savvy and a natural talent for relationship-building.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of technical sales experience, preferably in scientific instrumentation, biotech, or industrial automation
  • Proven success managing sales across multiple countries or regions within EMEA
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in English; additional European or Middle Eastern languages are a plus
  • Experience working independently across time zones and managing remote customer relationships
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic data analysis for pipeline tracking and forecasting
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally as needed (up to 25–40%)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling to biotech, pharma, or academic research institutions
  • Familiarity with viscometry, fluid dynamics, or scientific instrumentation
  • Multilingual proficiency, especially in German, French, Arabic, or other regional languages
  • Demonstrated success in channel partner development and distributor management
  • Comfort with presenting technical solutions in webinars, trade shows, and customer demos

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
  • Communicate product value clearly and consistently to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Collaborate with distributors and resellers to drive regional sales
  • Provide training, sales enablement, and ongoing communication to ensure alignment with RheoSense goals
  • Monitor partner performance and support joint marketing efforts
Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Communicate market trends and customer needs to internal teams for strategic planning
  • Track and report on sales performance using CRM tools and analytics
Technical Presentation, Demonstration, and Provide Basic Service
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demos to customer applications
  • Support customers promptly and provide basic service
  • Coordinate prompt service to customers
Market Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets within EMEA
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and webinars to represent RheoSense and generate leads
  • Communicate competitive positioning and differentiation strategies to prospects
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, product development, and R&D teams
  • Communicate customer insights and technical feedback to inform product enhancements
  • Participate in internal planning meetings to align regional efforts with global objectives
