Job summary

Monnoyeur is seeking a Test Bench Technician in the Île-de-France region to test product conformity against specifications. You will define test methods, pre-check equipment, install and run tests, and produce reports based on analyses.

A background in electrical or mechanical engineering and hands-on testing experience are required. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, and compliance, and participate in continuous improvement of the testing tools and

Qualifications

• Two years of higher education in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with test benches and product conformity testing is preferred.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• English level at least B1.

Responsibilities

• Define measurement and test methods adapted to the product before testing.
• Pre-check equipment and prepare setup including parameter settings.
• Install, test and conduct acceptance tests per program from stakeholders.
• Read and apply technical manuals and documentation.
• Write test reports and analyses
• Perform initial upkeep and maintenance on the test bench
• Identify non-conformities and support corrective actions with line management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the testing tool and process
• Report daily activities to line management (alerts, tasks, etc.)

Job Description

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

• Define measurement and test methods adapted to the product, prior to testing
• Pre-check equipment (auxiliaries, instrumentation) and prepare equipment (parameter setting, alignment, pre-lubrication, etc.)
• Carry out installation and testing, and conduct acceptance tests based on the test program defined by internal or external stakeholders (customers, sales teams, engineering teams, etc.)
• Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, etc.)
• Write reports (tests, recipes, etc.), based on the analyses carried out during the test
• Perform first-level upkeep and maintenance on the test bench provided
• Identify non-conformities, make technical adjustments and contribute to the management of non-conformities, in collaboration with line management
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the business tool
• Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.)

• Ensure compliance, quality and deadlines for product testing
• Ensure compliance of the workstation and tools provided
• Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules
• Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.)
• Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.)

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S)

2 years' higher education in electrical, mechanical or electrical engineering and/or significant experience preferred
