Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in carrying out learning plans designed by a faculty member in programs, courses, or content areas (e.g., mathematics, language) and the related study skills.
  • Follow Success Centre procedures and maintain records of the work done with students.
  • Provide peer feedback on student work.
  • Model effective learning strategies.
  • Provide individual help in solving related problems.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a post‑secondary program at Okanagan College.
  • Prior work experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer software applications.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well‑developed organizational skills; detail‑oriented.

Special Instructions: Priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
