Job summary

Danaher is seeking a highly experienced Labor and Employee Relations leader for France to guide associates, managers, and HR partners on complex employee relations matters. You will ensure consistent, compliant handling of cases, along with collaboration across the Life Sciences platform and works councils.

The role requires 10+ years in relevant fields, strong knowledge of employment law, and a track record in unionized environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, JD or equivalent educational mix.
• 10+ years in Labor and Employee Relations, HRBP, Employment Law or related field.
• Experience in unionized environments and with works councils.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and leaders to guide employee relations and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage employee relations cases including workforce reductions with information/consultation with works councils.
• Own and support performance improvements, disciplinary actions, and grievances with the LER COE.
• Develop, implement, and maintain employee relations policies, procedures, and tools.
• Act as liaison with the LER COE for assigned operating companies and maintain case data and reporting.
