Job summary

Danaher France seeks a Labor and Employee Relations Manager to guide associates, leaders and HR partners on employee relations matters with consistent, compliant handling of cases across the Life Sciences platform.

You will manage a diverse ER caseload, work with works councils, lead performance and disciplinary processes, develop ER policies and reporting tools, and drive improvements to reduce risk and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or JD or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Labor and Employee Relations, HRBP, employment law, or related RH discipline.
• Experience managing employee relations cases, investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workforce reductions.
• Experience in a unionized environment and/or with works councils and employee bodies.
• Strong knowledge of applicable employment laws in relevant jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on employee relations matters to ensure consistent application of policies and laws.
• Manage diverse ER cases including workforce reductions with works councils/employee bodies.
• Lead performance improvement and disciplinary processes in partnership with the LER COE.
• Develop, implement, and maintain ER policies, procedures, toolkits, and standard work.
• Act as liaison with the LER COE for assigned companies and jurisdictions, with data reporting and trend analysis.
