Job summary

Danaher in France is seeking a Labor and Employee Relations Manager to provide guidance on employee relations and ensure compliant handling of cases across the Life Sciences platform.

You will liaise with operating companies, works councils, and the COE, managing a diverse caseload and driving policy implementation. The role requires senior expertise in employment law, strong collaboration with HR partners, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Juris Doctor (J.D.), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Labor and Employee Relations or related HR discipline in relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience managing employee relations cases, investigations, and workforce changes.
• Experience working in a unionized environment and with works councils and employee representatives.
• Solid knowledge of applicable employment laws and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and leaders to guide employee relations and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, performance, disciplinary actions and grievances.
• Own and support performance improvement processes and associated actions with the COE.
• Develop, implement, and maintain ER policies, toolkits, and standard work.
• Coordinate with the LER COE for assigned entities and analyze trends to mitigate risk.
