Job summary

Danaher France seeks an accomplished Labor and Employee Relations Manager to advise leaders and HR partners on employee relations matters and ensure compliant handling of workplace issues. The role oversees investigations, policy development, and collaborations with works councils and the COE, driving risk reduction and organizational effectiveness across our life sciences activities.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in labor relations or HR, a JD or equivalent, and proven experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or JD or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Labor and Employee Relations, HRBP partnering, employment law, or related HR discipline within relevant jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of policies and employment laws.
• Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances and workforce reductions, in coordination with the COE and works councils.
• Lead performance improvement processes and hearings related to employee matters in partnership with the LER COE.
• Develop, implement and maintain employee relations policies, procedures, toolkits and standard work.
• Serve as primary liaison with the LER COE for assigned operating companies, ensuring data quality, reporting and trend analysis to mitigate risk and improve organizational effectiveness.
