Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Labor and Employee Relations Manager for France to provide guidance on employee relations, ensure compliant application of policies, and manage a diverse caseload across the Life Sciences platform. You will liaise with works councils, COE, and legal teams to mitigate risk and improve organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Labor and Employee Relations, HRBP, Employment Law, or related discipline.
• Experience managing employee relations cases including investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workforce reductions.
• Experience in a unionized environment and/or with works councils and employee representative bodies.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdictions.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to advise on employee relations and ensure policies are applied consistently.
• Manage employee relations cases including individual or collective reductions and organizational changes with works councils and employee bodies.
• Lead and support performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, grievances, and other associate-related matters with the LER COE.
• Support development and maintenance of employee relations policies, procedures, tools, and standard work.
• Serve as liaison with the LER COE for the assigned operating company(s) and maintain case data, trends, and reporting.
