Alan is hiring Senior/Staff backend or platform engineers to own the Data Privacy Orchestrator platform and its data lifecycle across 1M+ members. You will ship safe-by-default abstractions, drive privacy engineering at scale, and collaborate with legal, security, data, and product teams.

This role offers remote flexibility with in-person collaboration expectations within France, Belgium, or Spain. You will engineer Python/TypeScript services, contribute to a trusted data platform, and help

Qualifications

• Senior or staff-level backend or platform engineering experience.
• Evidence of deep production ownership and building/operating platforms.
• Experience coordinating across legal, security, data and product teams.

Responsabilités

• Own and run the platform core engine, safety mechanisms, and observability.
• Build self-serve tooling and docs to empower teams to manage data rules.
• Bridge across areas to align requirements and ensure data governance.
• Grow platform coverage across data stores and third-party systems as the company expands.
