Alan is hiring senior backend/platform engineers to own and operate the data privacy platform, ensuring safe-by-default data lifecycles across teams. You’ll ship a hardened Data Privacy Orchestrator and extend coverage as Alan expands into new countries, collaborating with legal, security, and product teams.

We value hands-on engineers who ship safe, scalable solutions and can align multiple areas on design decisions. English fluency is required; French not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Senior/staff-level backend or platform engineering role, evidence of production ownership.
• Experience shipping and operating platform services used by multiple teams.

Responsabilités

• Own and run the platform, including core engine, safety mechanisms, and observability.
• Build self-serve tooling and docs so areas can self-manage data rules.
• Bridge across legal, security, data, and product to align requirements.
• Grow the surface to cover more data stores and third‑party systems as Alan expands.
