Alan is hiring for a senior/backend‑or platform‑engineering role focused on building the Data Privacy Orchestrator and scalable data rules across the org. You will own the platform, implement safe‑by‑default abstractions, and align legal, security and product needs while enabling teams to manage data at scale.

You will ship production‑ready platform capabilities, drive privacy by design, and participate in expanding Alan across regions with strong ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Senior or staff‑level backend or platform engineer with production ownership.
• Experience building and operating platforms or libraries used by other engineers.
• Comfortable coordinating across legal, security, data and product teams.

Responsabilités

• Own and run the platform: core engine, safety mechanisms, and observability.
• Build the paved road: docs, templates, and self‑serve tooling for data rules.
• Bridge across areas: align requirements across legal, security, data and product.
• Grow the surface: extend coverage across data stores and third‑party systems.
