Job summary

Danaher’s Labor and Employee Relations Manager France role provides guidance and case management to associates, leaders, and HR partners, ensuring consistent, compliant handling of employee relations matters across the Life Sciences platform and operating companies.

The role manages investigations, disciplinary actions, and workforce changes, coordinates with works councils and employee representative bodies, develops policies, reports trends, and travels up to 25% to support sites and union

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Juris Doctor (J.D.), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Labor and Employee Relations, HRBP, Employment Law, or related discipline within relevant jurisdictions.
• Experience managing employee relations cases, investigations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workforce reductions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and leaders to guide employee relations matters and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage employee relations cases, including workforce reductions and organizational changes requiring information and consultation with works councils.
• Lead investigations, performance improvements, disciplinary actions, and grievances, in partnership with the LER COE.
• Develop, implement, and maintain employee relations policies, procedures, tools, and standard work.
• Interface with the LER COE for assigned operating companies and analyze case data to mitigate risk and improve effectiveness.
