Job summary

Danaher in France seeks a seasoned Labor and Employee Relations Manager to guide employee relations across the country, coordinating with HR partners, leaders, and works councils. You will manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and workforce reductions, while shaping policies and standard work with the COE.

The role requires 10+ years in ER/HRBP/Employment Law, unity with Danaher standards, and travel up to 25%. A JD or equivalent and a relevant degree are essential to qualify.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 10+ years in Labor and Employee Relations / HRBP / Employment Law
• Experience managing ER cases including investigations and disciplinary actions
• Experience in a unionized environment and with works councils
• Working knowledge of applicable employment laws in relevant jurisdictions
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to guide employee relations and ensure policy compliance
• Manage ER cases including investigations and workforce reductions with works councils and employee bodies
• Lead performance improvement processes, disciplinary actions, and grievance hearings with the LER COE
• Support development and maintenance of ER policies, toolkits and standard work
• Serve as liaison with the Global Labor & Employee Relations COE for assigned entities and report trends to reduce risk
