Job summary

Equativ is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Paris IT team. You will provide hands-on support to employees, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and work with external providers when needed.

You will manage helpdesk tickets, assist with Google Workspace, Okta, Office 365, MDM, and EDR, and help with onboarding new staff. A customer-service mindset and fluency in English and French are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Experience in a fast-growing company environment.
• Proficient with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
• Manage helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems and applications (Office 365, Slack).
• Assist in installation and configuration of hardware and software, ensuring devices meet standards.
• Help with system updates, software installations, and hardware upgrades as needed.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions in IT managed apps.
• Assist with setting up new employee workstations and access to tools.
• Write and maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Create and update user guides for common IT issues.
• Assist in generating periodic system and ticket status reports.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff and other departments to ensure smooth IT services.
• Provide basic training to end-users on common software and hardware issues.
