About The Role

Experienced professional Project Manager, responsible for managing customer relationships, and coordinating the delivery of real estate construction projects, including new builds and refurbishments.

About this opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Supporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives
  • Positively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Delivering high quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements
  • Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager
  • Producing and presenting to customers
  • Preparing bids for services
  • Managing service delivery for profit
  • Coach and encourage employees to help them develop their full potential
  • Identify new business development opportunities and drive business growth within the business unit company
  • Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance

About You

Who we’re looking for :

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
  • Sound experience managing construction projects in France - corporate real estate
  • 8+ years of professional experience in the construction industry. Experience in hospitality real estate is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of national technical requirements applied to the construction sector
  • Detailed knowledge and practices experience of project management techniques
  • Clear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts
  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
  • Methodical way of thinking and approach to work
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
  • Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams
  • Professional level of English and French
  • Based in Paris with possibly some travel
Qualifications
  • Bac+2 or equivalent - BuildingEngineering, Architecture or similar
