Un institut de recherche sur le cancer à Paris recherche un postdoctorant en oncologie moléculaire pour travailler sur le projet KOODAC. Le candidat doit avoir un doctorat en biologie moléculaire et cellulaire et des connaissances en oncologie. Ce contrat à durée déterminée de 18 mois nécessite une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais et de solides compétences analytiques. Institut Curie is a major player in the research and fight against cancer. It consists of a Hospital Group and a Research Center of more than 1000 employees with a strong international objective of the Research Center is to develop basic research and to use the knowledge produced to improve the diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutics of cancers as part of the continuum between basic research and innovation serving the patient. It is located in the center of Paris in France, in a both cultural and scientific rich environment. The site has active seminar program and hosts regular training sessions in various Life Science topics including molecular and cellular biology, immunology, chemistry, computational biology. It hosts the world-class SIREDO Oncopediatric Center which gathers research and clinical activities.
Laboratory & project
The research group of Olivier Delattre is a partner of the KOODAC Cancer Grand Challenge project ( which gathers pediatric cancer biology and chemical biology research teams to deliver transformative new therapies for children with solid malignancies driven by oncoproteins. The Delattre group has pioneered the discovery and functional characterization of the EWSR1 : : FLI1 oncoprotein of Ewing sarcoma. It has shown that the viability of Ewing cells requires a precise range of EWSR1 : : FLI1 expression and activity. The postdoc will investigate the mechanisms of the regulation of EWSR1 : : FLI1 protein stability and collaborate with chemical biology teams of the KOODAC program to identify therapeutic strategies to degrade or stabilize this protein to induce toxicity on Ewing cells.
