Job summary

A&O IT Group is looking for an On-Site Desktop Support specialist in Neuilly-sur-Seine to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, provision laptops, and provide hands-on support at client locations. The role requires proficiency with Windows and MacOS, and knowledge of endpoint management tools like Intune and JAMF to manage devices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Service Desk and other necessary entities to provide the technical support services
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents for devices and software (OS), including repairing physically broken devices
• Conduct tests of repaired devices to ensure proper operation and correct End User images
• Provide instructions and usage assistance to End Users for devices and software
• Assist End Users in data backups or restoring lost/damaged files from local drives
• Replace devices through warranty services when onsite repair is not possible
• Provide immediate replacement devices (hot swaps) for devices that cannot be repaired onsite
• Restore work area to pre-repair condition after End User support activity
• Obtain End User acknowledgement for completion of Service Requests
• Provide 'Smart Hands & Feet' for audio/visual conference room support per Service Requests
• Manage/coordinate third party AV equipment installation projects at client locations
• Support End Users with third party coordination for device setup and connectivity
• Configure BIOS and hardware settings as required
• Configure OS settings and system drivers as required
• Configure Core Image applications and base Layered Applications approved by Client
• Ensure encryption, authentication, VPN and access management software are configured per Client policies
• Deploy device software patches and hardware upgrades in line with Client policies
• Decommission End User Equipment from client asset systems when decommissioned
• Coordinate escort for break-fix partners as needed
• Campus desk side support for VIPs with walk-up service
