Job summary
A&O IT Group is seeking an On-Site Desktop Support specialist to deliver hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting at client locations in the Île-de-France region. You will provision laptops, assist end users, and coordinate with vendors to ensure service requests are completed efficiently.
The role requires strong on-site technical abilities, familiarity with Intune and JAMF, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a dynamic client environment.
Qualifications
- Experience providing on-site hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Ability to support Windows and MacOS environments.
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Intune/JAMF) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Service Desk and third parties to provide technical support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents for devices and OS software.
- Test repaired devices and ensure proper End User configuration.
- Provide user guidance on device usage and software installation.
- Assist with data backups and file restoration when needed.
- Replace devices under warranty and provide immediate replacements when required.
- Restore work areas after service activities and obtain user acknowledgment.
- Support audio/visual equipment setups and conference room services as requested.
- Escort vendors to device locations and coordinate third-party installations.
- Assist End Users with BIOS/firmware/configuration and OS driver updates.
