Job summary

Astreya France is seeking a Desktop Support engineer with 4-7 years of onsite experience across office and factory environments. You will support laptops/desktops, rugged factory devices, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V systems onsite.

Responsibilities include incident management via ITSM, deployment support, and knowledge article creation. Proficiency in Windows and basic networking is required to rapidly restore services and maintain business continuity.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of onsite desktop support across office and factory environments.
• Experience handling break/fix and deployment support for laptops/desktops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on onsite support for laptops/desktops, rugged factory devices, printers, handheld scanners, and conference room A/V systems.
• Monitor ticket queues and assign tickets through ITSM tools.
• Perform incident management and root cause analysis for major incidents; drive prevention.
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Utilize SCCM, IT Shop, and Nexthink for endpoint visibility and support efficiency.
• Apply Windows troubleshooting and basic network diagnostics to restore services quickly.
