• Develop prospective clients through internet sourcing, trade show lists, referrals, various directories and personal investigation
• Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking and other means
• Grow new business from existing clients by expanding relationships and up-selling the TransPerfect portfolio
• Creatively problem solve to improve current business development strategy
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients
• Educate clients regarding translation process, rates, turnaround times and competitors’ information
• Liaise with production to ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality and service
• Understand industries TransPerfect markets to including industry leaders and current events
• Perform other special projects or duties when required
