We are actively seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented Legal Assistant, EMEA to join our team. This role will report directly to the VP & Assistant General Counsel, EMEA. The successful candidate will be based in France and may work from a remote office.
Under the direction of the Managing Counsel, EMEA, the Legal Assistant, EMEA will be a key team member of the EMEA Legal team. Responsibilities include preparing drafts of legal documents from templates, monitoring and managing workflow and assignments in a ticketing system and contract management system, validating redlined and executed contracts, routing and tracking contracts and legal documents through an electronic signature process and contract repositories, performing general office tasks (such as calendaring, docketing, and filings), and coordinating other legal administrative activities, as assigned. The position requires the performance of assignments with a high degree of responsibility within the Legal department. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and independently; manage high volumes of tasks and projects; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround; and think creatively and be proactive in solving problems that affect people within the group or other related groups. The candidate will also be client‑service oriented, have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organization skills, and the ability to easily switch gears. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, is essential.
