The Exploration Company is seeking a People Experience Lead to own and scale global People Operations. You will build a distributed team across Europe, the Middle East and the USA, designing scalable processes and leveraging AI to power decision-making.

You will report to the Chief People Officer and be based in Munich, Bordeaux, or Turin, shaping payroll, benefits, and lifecycle management for a fast-growing international organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling People Operations in a high-growth, global environment.
• Experience leading distributed teams across Europe, Middle East and USA.
• Strong track record designing scalable processes and operating models from scratch.
• Hands-on AI and automation experience in People Operations with practical use cases.
• Deep understanding of global payroll, benefits and employment frameworks.
• Strong systems and data mindset; ability to drive clarity in complexity.
• Builder mentality; comfortable creating structure where none exists.
• High standards for quality, accuracy and execution.
• Ability to operate at strategic and hands-on levels.
• Strong communication and leadership; influence at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead a high-performing global People Operations team across multiple regions.
• Design and implement a scalable, global People Operations model to support rapid company growth.
• Own the full employee lifecycle globally, ensuring onboarding to offboarding is seamless.
• Ensure payroll, benefits and core HR operations are delivered with precision across geographies.
• Redefine People Operations using AI, automation, and modern tooling for efficiency.
• Establish data foundations; ensure accuracy and actionable insights across people data.
• Ensure compliance with local employment laws while maintaining global consistency.
• Enable rapid international expansion with scalable, compliant frameworks.
• Partner with Leadership, Finance, Talent, and People to drive effective operation.
• Identify bottlenecks and risks and solve them systematically.
