Photoroom is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to own payroll, HRIS, contracts, compliance, benefits, and data across Europe, including France and the US. You will automate and document processes, reinforce privacy and trust, and shape an operating model that scales with rapid growth.

Reporting to the VP People, this role is senior IC with no direct reports today, and requires fluent French and English, Paris-based with three office days per week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with French payroll and employment compliance.
• Experience owning People Operations processes, workflows, and controls.
• Hibob experience preferred; if another HRIS is used, experience configuring and improving it matters more.
• Systems-minded with a strong instinct for automation.
• High standards of accuracy, discretion and follow-through.
• Ability to operate independently in a small team and design and run processes.

Responsabilités

• Own payroll across France and Europe; manage external providers.
• Maintain French statutory obligations and HR compliance calendars.
• Administer contracts, letters, templates and service levels for People Ops.
• Oversee onboarding, lifecycle events, immigration, and offboarding.
• Administer benefits, compensation benchmarking and salary bands.
• Own HRIS reliability, data quality and automation initiatives.
