Joko is hiring a People Operations Manager to scale our global team. You will own core people processes end-to-end and ensure a compliant, high-quality employee experience across France, Spain, and the US.

You will lead payroll, compliance, HR systems, data reporting, and automation initiatives, partnering with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and Workplace Management. Fluency in French and English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People Operations or HR administration in a fast-growing startup.
• Deep expertise in at least one area: payroll, compliance, HR systems, or HR projects.
• End-to-end payroll experience; quick to master modern HRIS and payroll tools.
• Strong knowledge of French labor law; international HR exposure is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and reliable in People Ops.
• Data-driven with headcount, payroll, and reporting accuracy.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ownership.
• Fluent in French and English; Spanish is a plus; based in France or Spain.

Responsabilités

• Run core people processes end-to-end: payroll, contracts, amendments, benefits, visas, and time off across FR, ES, and the US — accurate, compliant, and on time.
• Own compliance with French labor law; support audits, fundraising, and due diligence.
• Build systems and data: HRIS and data accuracy, reliable reporting.
• Automate People Ops processes using AI.
• Deliver a human employee experience during onboarding and offboarding.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partner, and Workplace Management.
