Job summary

Hager Group in Paris seeks an experienced senior leader to define and orchestrate the global contractor strategy, partnering with the Specifier Head, market leaders, and country teams to translate strategy into priority accounts, tools, and measurable results across Europe and beyond.

As an individual contributor with no direct reports, you will lead through influence, maintain local commercial ownership, and report to the Global Sales Leader within Project Business and the Execution Team Head;

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA would be an advantage.
• At least 10 years of international B2B commercial leadership.
• Proven track record in customer strategy, key account management, business development, or commercial transformation across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with expertise in segmentation, value propositions, go-to-market, CRM, analytics, and performance management.
• Strategic, customer-focused leader who influences stakeholders and builds cross-functional networks.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build strategy from the ground up, navigating ambiguity.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Hager’s global contractor strategy, value proposition, and differentiated approach to making this customer segment a sustainable growth engine.
• Design cross-market engagement frameworks that strengthen contractor preference, improve share of wallet, and accelerate profitable Project Business opportunities.
• Build Hager’s preferred-supplier positioning through scalable customer solutions, services, tools, and strategic contractor partnerships.
• Coordinate senior leaders, Market Areas, sales, marketing, digital, supply chain, and service teams while keeping local commercial ownership clear.
• Establish governance and performance management to share best practices, build capabilities, and measure business impact across markets.
