Job summary

Owkin, based in Paris, is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow opportunities across biotech, CRO, pharma, and VC accounts. You will research target organizations, identify stakeholders, and drive conversations through outreach while collaborating with Sales Directors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include prospecting accounts, crafting targeted messages, and generating qualified opportunities via email, LinkedIn, and events.

Qualifications

• First experience in B2B sales, ideally SaaS or life sciences.
• Strong prospecting drive and ability to turn contacts into meetings.
• Comfort talking with scientists and senior decision-makers.
• CRM is kept up-to-date proactively without being asked.
• Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Identify target accounts (biotechs, CROs, pharma, VC) and decision-makers.
• Create targeted messages to reach outbound leads.
• Generate qualified opportunities via outbound channels and events.
• Build relationships across multiple levels within key accounts.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and demos with Sales/Marketing teams.
• Keep CRM, forecasts and reporting up to date.
• Synthesize customer feedback and share with Product.
