Job summary
Academic Work, as a Wärtsilä consultant, seeks an ERP Service Manager to own the day-to-day operations of minor enhancements after a major ERP transformation. You will coordinate between internal business workgroups and the external development partner, ensuring monthly planning, 1-month sprints, and SAP release dates stay on track.
The role focuses on operational delivery, overseeing ServiceNow requests, sprint cadences, and KPI tracking while maintaining a strong partnership with offshore
Qualifications
- Strong track record in a Service Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar operational lead role within IT or ERP environments.
- Hands-on experience with agile delivery methodologies, sprint management, and release cadences.
- Proven capability in managing external IT service providers and vendor deliverables.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational development activities and sprint cadences across functional workgroups.
- Manage operations for enhancement requests (ServiceNow) from planning to release.
- Support monthly planning sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and release readiness checks.
- Serve as Wärtsilä’s operational interface toward the external development lead and offshore team.
- Manage development team capacity based on agreed allocations.
- Track application development KPIs to optimize throughput.
