Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a dedicated IT Service Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of Hydro IT services and applications. You will bridge business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to ensure secure, cost-efficient, and reliable services across the hydropower infrastructure.

You will oversee service performance, cybersecurity, and vendor contracts, while driving roadmaps and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field
• Solid experience in IT service management, application management, or digital service delivery
• Good understanding of ITIL practices, agile development, and lifecycle of business-critical applications
• Experience in supplier management, service governance, and cost tracking/budgeting
• Proactive, structured, self-driven mindset with ownership of complex entities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of Hydro IT services and applications
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, translating operational needs into clear service roadmaps and action plans
• Drive service performance, availability, cybersecurity, compliance, and user experience
• Lead supplier collaboration, overseeing service quality, vendor commitments, contracts, and costs
• Prioritize development initiatives in close alignment with business owners, architects, and delivery teams
• Ensure all services align with internal IT service management standards, architecture principles, and continuity requirements
