Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation in Vaasa, Finland is seeking a Manager, Procurement & Logistics to lead the Energy Services Upgrades procurement & logistics team. You will drive global upgrade projects, develop supplier relationships and implement processes for high performance and value creation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and project delivery processes.
• Experience in global project business and stakeholder management.
• Experience with supplier management and service provider collaboration.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
• Customer-oriented mindset with proactive problem-solving.
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement & Logistics team across locations.
• Support Energy Services project teams with procurement, logistics, invoicing, and admin tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement, logistics, and project support processes.
• Ensure efficient material and logistics flows for global upgrade projects.
• Support business stakeholders in procurement and logistics escalations.
• Manage and develop supplier and logistics service-provider relationships.
• Monitor and improve supplier delivery performance and logistics execution.
