What is it like to be an Accountant at DHV Technology?

As an Accountant at DHV Technology, you will join our Finance Department and work closely with both the Accounting Manager and the CFO to ensure the accurate and timely execution of our financial processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an international aerospace company, collaborating in the financial planning and control of cutting-edge technology projects.

You will participate in the day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to financial reporting, and support internal control activities, playing a key role in the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

As an Accountant at DHV Technology, your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing recurring accounting tasks such as stock impairment control, depreciation of fixed assets, project closure cost forecasting, and weekly cash flow forecasting, under the supervision of the Accounting Manager.
• Assisting the CFO in updating the project progress calculation model, cash flow forecasting, cash flow statements, and monthly KPI reporting.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assisting in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company procedures.
• Maintaining up-to-date accounting records and proper documentation of financial operations.
• Reconciling bank statements and managing payments and collections when needed.
• Collaborating with other departments to obtain financial data and ensure accurate reporting.

Education and Requirements:

To be considered for this position, the following qualifications are required:

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, or equivalent vocational training as Senior Technician in Administration and Finance.
• Solid knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC).
• Familiarity with accounting software (such as A3, SAP, Sage, or similar).
• At least 3 years of experience in a company’s accounting department.
• Basic understanding of project accounting and financial forecasting is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools is valued.
• Written and spoken fluency in Spanish; English is a plus.
