A technology transfer organization in Spain is seeking a professional to join their Technology Transfer Department. The role involves managing technology transfer projects, building relationships with industry stakeholders, and promoting awareness of technology transfer within research teams. The ideal candidate will possess a higher education degree, relevant experience in innovation, and proficiency in both English and Spanish. This position offers the opportunity for both national and international travel.

Your mission

We are looking for someone to join our Technology Transfer Department.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Build strong relationships with industry and knowledge-generating entities.
• Carry out activities related to the identification, assessment, valuation, and definition of transfer plans for AIMPLAS research results that have potential for market application.
• Identify and record challenges, demands, offerings, solutions, and opportunities, along with the main stakeholders behind them.
• Promote and drive transfer projects based on the key elements identified.
• Raise awareness among research staff about the importance of technology transfer.

Your profile

Required education:

• Higher University Degree, preferably in Business Administration and Law, or technical or scientific fields.

Additional training:

• Master’s degree specializing in Technology Transfer, Innovation Management, or Knowledge Transfer.

Experience:

• Managing technology transfer in the field of innovation within public or private entities.
• Coordinating and managing technology transfer activities between knowledge-generating organizations and companies.
• Identifying and assessing research results. Evaluating the commercial potential of inventions and developing protection and exploitation strategies.
• Entrepreneurship.

Other requirements:

• Proven high level of English (spoken and written) and fluent Spanish.
• Advanced negotiation skills.
• Commercial and business development skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• B1 driving license.
