A sourcing firm in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain is seeking an experienced sourcing professional. Responsibilities include ensuring material quality, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining relationships both domestically and internationally. Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in sourcing within the electronics industry, proficient in ERP and MRP systems, and possess strong negotiation, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive approach to supplier relations and quality assurance.

Descripción del empleo

Insure that correct prices,quality for components are available for pre-production and first lot of mass production.

Setup ERP system with correct purchasing data.

Coordinate with Program management to solve customer related issues.

Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions for the supply base

Identify and qualify new sources.

Responsible for setup material/tooling for new prototype projects

Sourcing, negotiating, qualifying new suppliers as well as maintaining desired relationships with suppliers both domestically and internationally.

Responsible for new supplier introduction and supplier development of new products.

Establishes and maintains proper relations with suppliers or their representatives.

Established localization plan for Electronics, Mechanical, Plastic parts and PCB.

Perform miscellaneous duties as required by Sourcing Manager.

To be sure that new raw material for prototype projects are fullfill to support production on schedule as planned.

Always strictly complied with Company’s management systems and regulations.

Job requirements

Strategic purchasing or equivalent working experience.

Minimum 3-5 years working experience in sourcing especially for Electronic, Mechanical, PCB and Plastic in electronics industry, preferably contract manufacturing.

Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.

Possess strong ability to locate, quality, and develop sources of supply. Must be able to work with suppliers to continually improve quality, cost, delivery while reducing lead-time.

Highly detail oriented and organized, having a sense of urgency and good follow-through.

Good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply which ensure prices are consistent with quality requirements.

MRP system skills and knowledge required.

Excellent administrative and communication skills.
