Job summary

Emergo by UL is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services in Europe. The role is customer-facing with remote or hybrid options from Barcelona, Basingstoke or The Hague. You will drive revenue by understanding client needs and delivering tailored HF solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of consultative sales experience in the medical device or life sciences sector, English at C1, and is willing to travel up to 30% to cultivate key accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets (minimum $3 million/year).
• Medical device or life sciences industry experience required.
• Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency at least C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for specialty Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through project scoping and contract execution.
• Understand customer needs, articulate Emergo by UL's value proposition in client presentations and proposals, and manage client interactions to close sales.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; work with subject matter experts to craft customized advisory service solutions that deliver value.
• Develop sales pipeline via proactive outreach and attendance of trade shows and conferences.
• Build trust and engage with customers to identify needs and pain points in their product development process; integrate HF solutions in key steps.
• Contribute to developing marketing strategy and tactics for Human Factors, including identifying key industry events.
