Job summary

Emergo by UL, a leader in Human Factors engineering services for medical devices, seeks a Senior Sales Executive to drive premium HF advisory services across the EMEA region. The role is remote or hybrid from an office in Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague, with a focus on consultative selling and client engagement.

The ideal candidate has a strong sales track record in medical devices or life sciences, excellent English (C1), and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency at least C1 level.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a track record of meeting/exceeding targets (minimum $3M/year).
• Experience in medical device and/or life sciences industry required.
• Human Factors knowledge and experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for HF advisory services across the sales cycle.
• Articulate value proposition in client presentations and proposals; manage client interactions to close deals.
• Meet/exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; collaborate with SMEs to tailor advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline via outreach and trade shows/conferences.
• Identify customer needs and pain points; integrate HF solutions into product development processes.
• Support marketing strategy for HF offerings and participate in industry events.
• Advise leadership on evolving customer needs and industry trends.
