Job summary

Emergo by UL is seeking a service-minded Senior Sales Executive in Europe to lead sales of premium Human Factors advisory services in the EMEA region. The role is customer-facing and requires advanced technical credibility to sell and respond to inquiries.

This position can be based remotely or in a hybrid model from Barcelona, Basingstoke, or The Hague, with up to 30% travel. We expect a track record of consultative sales, strong business acumen, and 5+ years in the field, with a quota around

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in business, human factors engineering, biomedical engineering, life science or related field.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
• 5+ years of consultative sales experience with targets met or exceeded.
• Medical device and/or life science industry experience required.
• Human Factors knowledge and experience preferred.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM software, able to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for Human Factors advisory services throughout the sales cycle.
• Understand customer needs and articulate value proposition in presentations and proposals.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; collaborate with SMEs to tailor advisory solutions.
• Develop sales pipeline through proactive outreach and attendance at trade shows and conferences.
• Build trust with customers and identify needs at key stages of product development.
• Contribute to marketing strategy and identify industry events for representation.
• Advise leadership on customer needs and industry trends to inform offerings.
• Maintain relationships with target accounts and prioritize portfolio through the year.
