Join Betsson Group as an AI Engineer

We’re looking for a hands-on AI Engineer to join Betsson Group’s growing Data & Analytics team. You’ll work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to develop and deploy machine learning models that drive real business outcomes such as personalization, customer segmentation, fraud detection, responsible gaming, and more.

This is a key role for someone passionate about building scalable ML solutions in production and thriving in a fast-paced, data-rich environment.

Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines, from data pre-processing to deployment and monitoring.
2. Collaborate with data scientists to productionize models and turn prototypes into reliable, scalable systems.
3. Work with product managers and domain experts to translate business needs into ML solutions.
4. Develop infrastructure for model training, testing, deployment, and performance tracking.
5. Contribute to real-time inference systems and microservices using ML models.
6. Use ML to support areas such as player retention, game recommendations, personalization, fraud detection, and player risk profiling.
7. Stay updated with new ML, AI, and MLOps techniques and apply them to improve systems.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, especially around responsible gaming and data privacy.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in applied machine learning with models in production.
• Solid programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying ML models using cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, SageMaker).
• Good understanding of data pipelines, APIs, containers (Docker), and version control (Git).
• Experience working with large datasets and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time ML applications and streaming data (Kafka, Flink).
• Familiarity with recommendation systems, time series models, or reinforcement learning.
• Exposure to the iGaming industry or other highly regulated, customer-facing domains.
• Understanding of A/B testing and statistical evaluation of model performance.
