Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind). Based in Barcelona, you will monitor turbine performance, perform remote diagnostics, and assist field teams to maintain safe and efficient offshore wind operations.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to process improvements while supporting occasional weekend on-call duties. English proficiency and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind-energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and ability to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting during commissioning and service phases.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages when required with safety and compliance.
• Participate in rotating weekday shifts and on-call weekends/holidays.
