Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind). The role focuses on safe, efficient offshore wind asset operation from Barcelona, with remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and collaboration across commissioning and service phases.

You will monitor turbine performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement while supporting field teams. Relocation to Barcelona and EU eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems or digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona (EU work eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Monitor wind assets performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings and process improvements.
• Assist with grid outage support while prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
