Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind). Based in Barcelona, you’ll monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support offshore wind assets across commissioning and service phases. Strong collaboration with site and engineering teams is essential.

You will analyze data, guide field teams, and drive process improvements while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot in the field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
