GE Vernova is hiring a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze faults, and guide commissioning and service activities from a remote hub.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, use SCADA and electrical schematics for troubleshooting, and travel up to 20% as needed. Fluency in English and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English with willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Aufgaben

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
