Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze alarms, and guide remote diagnostics to ensure safe, efficient operations throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with site teams and engineering experts, resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and participate in a rotating shift with on-call coverage. Fluent English is required, and some travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or similar electromechanical system experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Remote diagnostics and troubleshooting to support commissioning and service.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call weekends and public holidays.
