Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor offshore wind assets, analyze faults, and drive remote diagnostics from a central hub, coordinating with site teams to ensure reliable turbine performance.

You will collaborate with engineering and support teams, participate in commissioning and service phases, and travel up to 20% when required, with fluency in English and EU work eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
