Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center (Wind) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor wind turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and coordinate with site teams to ensure safe, reliable operation.

You will engage in commissioning and service activities, analyze data for faults and trends, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting grid outage tasks when needed. English fluency and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar systems in operational environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
