Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and DS1 across the EMEA region. You will explain complex technical issues to Health Care Professionals, start-up specialists, and Field Service Engineers, applying analytical and problem-solving skills in an operating-room setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in (biomedical/electrical/mechanical) engineering with 4+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years, or a medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to be flexible and multi-task.
• Experience analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement and with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive escalation and initiate field service support when needed.
• Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex requests.
• Own continuous improvement projects and documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is complete promptly.
• Focus on remote support with occasional onsite training (domestic and international).
• On-call availability 7AM-7PM CET, with rotation among colleagues.
