Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a full-time remote Technical Service Specialist to support the Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system and the DS1 platform. You will explain complex technical issues to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists, and field service engineers to enable effective patient care.

The role involves global collaboration, documentation integrity, and occasional on-site training across international sites within the EMEA region.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with 4+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2+ years experience, or a medical degree with technical skills.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
Experience with robotics or motion control in large capital equipment.
Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Experience with analyzing technical issues for continuous improvement and with software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE; act as a technical liaison between stakeholders and the operating unit.
Drive escalation to resolve issues and initiate field service when needed.
Collaborate with other specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
Own continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is complete promptly.
Focus on remote support with occasional on-site training (domestic and international).
Regular hours 8:00-16:30 CET; on-call 7AM-7PM, rotation across colleagues.
