Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for its surgical robotics portfolio in the EMEA region. The role requires explaining complex technical issues related to the Hugo robotic system and DS1 to healthcare professionals, start-up specialists and field service engineers, with a focus on remote support and occasional on-site training.

You will join a global healthcare technology leader, working in a dynamic team across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, or medical degree with technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2).
• Experience with robotics or motion control in a large capital equipment environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the Hugo system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Drive the escalation process to resolve customer issues and trigger field service when needed.
• Collaborate with other technical service specialists to troubleshoot complex service requests.
• Perform technical activities requiring judgment and own continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all documentation/system entries are complete and up to date.
