Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Remote Technical Services Specialist for Surgical Robotics in the EMEA region. You will support the Hugo robotic system and DS1 platform remotely, communicating with healthcare professionals and field engineers to resolve issues and improve processes.

You will work with a global team, participate in on-call rotations, and have the opportunity to travel for on-site training. A strong engineering background and fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical/electrical/mechanical engineering, with/without medical degree and technical skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese, English and Italian (C1/C2) is required.
• Experience with robotics or motion control in capital equipment.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization abilities.
• Experience with software troubleshooting and process analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Hugo robotic system and DS1 to HCP, SUS and FSE.
• Escalate issues and trigger field service when needed.
• Collaborate with teams to diagnose and resolve complex service requests.
• Own documentation and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Offer remote support with occasional onsite training domestically and internationally.
• Maintain timely, complete documentation and entries.
